Delete your account in the app

Open Madison Paycheck and follow these steps:

1. Open Settings.
2. Open Privacy and data.
3. Select Delete account.
4. Review the deletion warning.
5. Select Delete account again to confirm.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot normally be undone.

Cannot access the app?

Submit the account deletion request form below using the email address
associated with your Madison Paycheck account.

We may contact you to verify that you control the account before
completing the request.

Do not include passwords, temporary sign-in codes, full Social Security
numbers, complete bank information, payment-card numbers, or other highly
sensitive information.

Email request option

You may also request account deletion by emailing us from the email
address associated with your Madison Paycheck account.

Data deleted with your account

When your account is deleted, we delete or de-identify
account-associated data that is no longer required, including:

• Account profile information
• Email authentication associations and active session records
• Saved employers
• Saved paycheck calculations and calculation history
• Saved scenario comparisons
• Optional year-to-date profiles
• Account-linked app preferences where applicable
• Other personal data associated with Madison Paycheck functionality

Information that may be retained

Limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal
compliance, fraud prevention, security, billing reconciliation, dispute
resolution, financial recordkeeping, audit, backup, or system integrity.
Retained information is restricted and kept only for the applicable
retention period.

Account deletion, subscription cancellation, and uninstalling are
separate

Deleting your Madison Paycheck account does not automatically cancel an
active Google Play or Apple App Store subscription.

• Delete account:
  removes or de-identifies eligible account-associated data.
• Cancel subscription:
  must be completed through the app-store account used for purchase.
• Uninstall the app:
  removes the app from the device but does not delete the account or
  cancel a subscription.
